Websites That Work as Hard as You Do

I Build San Antonio Websites That Generate Leads

I built the Doriva Local Art Source brand and website in San Antonio, growing it from zero to 250+ organic keywords with #1 rankings for local art searches. San Antonio web design needs to serve a bilingual market where Pearl District standards are raising expectations citywide.

Challenges San Antonio Businesses Face

I build websites for Texas businesses that actually work

A Texas business came to me with the same frustration: a website that cost money and did nothing. The result after working together: full website redesign with industry-specific landing pages for a global HVAC-R nanotechnology com.. I understand what Texas customers expect and how to build for it.

Most of your customers search on their phone and your site barely works on one

Over 60% of local searches happen on mobile devices. If your site pinches, zooms, and loads slowly on a phone, those visitors leave in seconds. A mobile-first design is not a bonus feature anymore. It is the baseline.

You already redesigned once and it did not change anything

A redesign without strategy is just a new coat of paint. If nobody studied your analytics, audited your competitors, or planned the conversion flow before designing, the new site was always going to have the same problems as the old one. Design should follow strategy, not the other way around.

Before you hire anyone

How to tell if a web designer will waste your money

Google's free tool, PageSpeed Insights, tests any public web page and scores its performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO. One free check is to run it on your web designer's own site, the one project where no client held them back. A low score doesn't prove your site will be slow, but it's a fair thing to ask them about. Also:

No results, just "pretty"

Ask them: "How many leads did your last client's website generate?" If they can't answer, they build decorations, not businesses.

They don't ask about your customers

A designer who jumps straight to colors and fonts without asking who your customers are is building a portfolio piece, not a business tool.

They own your website, not you

If you can't take your site and leave whenever you want, you're renting, not buying. Ask who owns the code, the domain, and the hosting account.

They don't mention SEO at all

A website nobody can find is an expensive business card. If your designer never brings up page titles, heading structure, or how people will actually find you on Google, you'll end up paying someone else to fix all of it six months from now.

Their own site loads slowly

Run their site through Google PageSpeed Insights on mobile. If it scores poorly, ask why, and ask to see the measured numbers from a recent client launch. A designer who tests speed should be able to show you those numbers. I hand every client their measured speed numbers at launch, in writing.

They charge per page

Per-page pricing means every new piece of content costs you more. Good designers price by project scope. You should be able to add a page when your business needs it, not when your budget allows it.

No timeline, no milestones

"It'll be done when it's done" is not a project plan. If they can't tell you what happens week by week, with clear checkpoints, your project will drag for months. Ask for the timeline before you sign anything.

They show you a template and call it custom

Ask them straight: "Is this a theme or built from scratch?" If they hesitate, it's a theme. You won't notice the difference until you need something the template wasn't built for. Then you're stuck.

What I've learned working with small businesses in San Antonio

San Antonio's economy runs on three engines: military, healthcare, and tourism. Each one generates a wall of institutional search content that small businesses have to compete against. The majority of the city is Hispanic, and Spanish-language search volume is seriously underserved by most local businesses. Pearl District raised the bar for how consumers judge every local business, from restaurants to service providers. I have real portfolio work here: I built the brand for Doriva Local Art Source, a San Antonio art marketplace now ranking for hundreds of organic keywords. Firsthand experience with how this market responds.

Website Redesign for an HVAC-R Nanotechnology Company in Houston

CryogenX4 makes a patented nanotechnology that improves HVAC-R performance for Fortune 500 companies in 100+ countries. Their website was broken and outdated. Why work with me

What Makes Me Different

Real San Antonio Portfolio Work

I built the brand identity for Doriva Local Art Source, a San Antonio art marketplace now ranking for hundreds of organic keywords. This is not theoretical. I know how this market responds.

I actually build for the bilingual market

I build strategies that account for San Antonio's bilingual search patterns. Most competitors only optimize for English and miss the majority of the city that searches, reads, and buys in Spanish.

Direct Access, No Account Managers

You work directly with me. The person who wins your business is the person who does the work. No layers, no handoffs, no messages lost in translation.

Who you're hiring

Why should you trust me?

My agency was a Google ActΓvate success story.

I didn't learn SEO from a blog. I've worked in digital marketing for 17 years, 15 of them running my own agency. Google featured that agency, KREAKTIVE, in a Google ActΓvate story (screenshot, Oct 2026) after I took their ActΓvate digital marketing course. I moved to Colorado Springs in 2023 and brought KREAKTIVE with me (it operated as Digital Marketing Services until 2026). Today I use the same skills to get Colorado small businesses found on Google and AI search.

Choose KREAKTIVE if...

You want a site built and tested for speed, with an SEO foundation, that you actually own. You get a training session on how to update your text and photos yourself. A small change shouldn't mean a call to me.

Choose DIY if...

You need a simple site fast and have time to learn a builder. Works for basic brochure sites, but you'll hit walls on performance and SEO.

Consider an agency if...

You need a large, complex web application with multiple developers. Expect higher costs and longer timelines.

Agency prices come from my comparison of 6 Colorado Springs web design agencies, DMS included: Organic Web Tech, SpearPoint Marketing, Thrive Agency, Infront Webworks and Intero Digital. Read the full comparison.

Common questions

Web Design in San Antonio FAQs

Custom websites for San Antonio businesses typically range from $5,000-$15,000 depending on features and complexity. With 1.5 million residents and growing competition from Austin and Dallas, your site needs to load fast on mobile, present bilingual content cleanly, and convert visitors into calls. Every site I build includes SEO foundations and scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed.

Yes. In a majority-Hispanic city, a bilingual website is not a nice-to-have. It is a revenue multiplier. I build sites with clean language switching that feels natural, not bolted on. Content, layout, and conversion paths work in both English and Spanish without compromising design quality or page speed.

San Antonio's $17B tourism economy means many businesses serve both River Walk visitors and local residents. These audiences have different needs and search patterns. I build sites that route each audience to the right content: tourists get quick-action pages (menus, directions, hours) while locals get the depth they need to make informed decisions.

Four phases. Discovery (week 1): I learn your business, competitors, customers and goals. Design (week 2): you see first designs and give feedback. Build (weeks 2 to 3): I develop the site, write the copy and set up the SEO. Launch (week 4): final review, training session, go live. On a Multi-City Website the build runs weeks 2 to 5 and launch is week 6.

Local Website launches in 4 weeks (first designs in 2 weeks). Multi-City Website launches in 6 weeks (first designs in 2 weeks). I hit deadlines because I respect your time.

Every website I build is mobile-first, meaning I design for phones and tablets first, then scale up to desktop.

I build custom websites tailored to your business goals. I build on WordPress, Next.js or lightweight HTML, depending on how you'll update the site and what it needs to do, but the design, content structure, and functionality are created specifically for you. Not pulled from a template library.

Yes. The design, the code, the content, the domain, the hosting account. Everything is yours. If you ever want to work with someone else, you take it all with you. Nothing to rent back, no dependencies, no hostage situations.

You get 90 days of post-launch support: bug fixes, small tweaks, questions answered. I also include a live training session (with recording) so you can make basic updates yourself. After 90 days you pick one: Website Care Essential at $197/mo (hosting included), or Hosting & Domain at $230/yr with support at $197/hr.

Templates are designed to look decent for everyone, which means they fit no one in particular. A custom site is built around your customer journey: right messaging, right order, conversion paths for your audience, and no bloated code slowing it down. I speed-test it and give you the measured numbers at launch. Custom sites handle SEO from day one. Templates often need workarounds that can cost you load time, conversions and rankings.
